Although the binaries was released prematurely a couple of days ago, the most recent version of Azure AD Connect, version 1.1.119.0, has just been officially released.
Among the fixes is a check to ensure Azure AD Connect with password synchronization only accepts supported platforms, which is Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1 or newer. The remaining fixes are focused on issues during upgrades to Azure AD Connect.
Full set of fixes:
- Made sure Express install cannot be used on Windows Server 2008 (pre-R2) since password sync is not supported on this operating system.
- Upgrade from DirSync with a custom filter configuration did not work as expected.
- When upgrading to a newer release and there are no changes to the configuration, a full import/synchronization should not be scheduled.
